Connelly Bossong

BSN, RN, LNC · Founder, Legal Nurse Education · Founder & CEO, Lantana Legal Consulting

I built this program because I wish it had existed when I made the move from the bedside. Through Lantana Legal Consulting, I review medical records and support expert witness work for attorneys, and that is exactly what I will be teaching you to do.

This winter I am leading every live session myself. Five nurses, one group, and direct feedback from me on every assignment.

From nurses who have been through it

Connelly and Katrina were great preceptors. I was able to learn the foundational skills that I needed to be able to start my LNC journey. Grateful for their support and dedication!

This preceptorship exceeded my expectations! The hands-on assignments, personalized feedback, and practical templates are just a few of the invaluable resources I walked away with. The course strengthened both my confidence and analytical skills, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a strong foundation in legal nurse consulting.

Questions? We've Got Answers.

Who is this for?

Registered nurses who want to break into legal nursing, whether as an independent consultant or in an in-house role at a law firm. You do not need prior legal experience.

When do the weekly sessions take place?

Live sessions run once a week for six weeks, starting the week of November 9. There is one group this cohort, so after enrollment closes on October 30 we will confirm a single weekly day and time with everyone. If you have scheduling questions, reach out before enrolling and we are happy to chat.

Why only 5 spots?

This cohort is one small group led entirely by Connelly. Keeping it to five means everyone gets real time in every live session and personal feedback on every assignment.

How much time do I need each week?

Each week includes a 1-hour recorded lecture you can watch on your own time, plus a 1-hour live session with your group. You will also have a take-home assignment to complete before the next session. Most students spend 4 to 5 hours total per week.

Do I need a certification to join?

No. You need an active RN license. This program gives you the practical skills and mentorship to start working as a legal nurse consultant. Certification is separate and optional.

What if I already have my CLNC or LNC certification?

If you have certification but have not been actively working cases, this gives you the hands-on practice and mentorship to actually start. Sharpen your report writing, work through complex case scenarios, and build the portfolio and confidence to land clients.

What is the refund policy?

Because spots are limited and your enrollment means another nurse cannot join, we have a firm enrollment policy. Questions about commitment? Reach out to us before enrolling and we are happy to chat.

Your nursing career taught you how to save lives. Now let it pay you what you are worth.

The Winter 2026 cohort starts November 9. Only 5 spots, first-come, first-served. Enrollment closes October 30.
